The Bible, not only a spiritual shield, but often a physical shield as well. Amazing.

Thanks for the reminder to not take for granted our freedom to own and possess as many bibles as we wish. Some day we could be faced with the dilemma of where to hide our bible. As for now, I will treasure my bibles and be appreciative and thankful that I may own them, freely.

This also has made me think about how important it is for me to continually memorize the Word of God – hide it in our hearts that we might not sin against God – Ps. 119:11.

That is precious, that the Bible was that important! We do not know what an offering will do, here in this country as well, where there is so much evident coldness against spiritual things. There are many who are thirsting for the Water of Life.
