By The Way (A Photo Essay)

You shall teach them to your children, talking of them when you are sitting in your house, and when you are walking by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. Deut. 11:19

April 18. New post on my Photography Blog regarding our fleeting lives.

About Shirley Buxton

Still full of life and ready to be on the move, Shirley at 80 years old feels blessed to have lots of energy and to be full of optimism. She has been married to Jerry for 62 years. They have 4 children, 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren...all beautiful and highly intelligent--of course. :)

As my boys were growing up, when I would pray for them, I would ask the Lord to give me wisdom and to please fill in the gaps and compensate where I lacked; to please fill in the blanks and fix the mistakes I made. I trusted Him to do that since my best was not enough. I need the touch of Jesus to be on their lives…or I have failed completely.

P.S. This pics are precious, but makes me sad because I miss those two so much. 😦
